NEW LEAF TOWN HALL MEETING TBA SHORTLY
In these uncertain times, families need a stronger voice as our educational system faces significant challenges. Chris Buczynski, a dedicated father of four and passionate community advocate, understands the struggles that parents endure, especially those with two children who have special needs. As families navigate rising inflation, transportation uncertainties, and various challenges at home and school, Chris is here to champion your concerns.
With 35 years of military service, Chris brings a practical, results-driven approach focused on parent-led governance. He believes that parents should take the lead in decision-making, empowering families to shape the future of education. Chris is committed to strengthening the roles of school councils, Special Education Advisory Committees (SEAC), and Parent Involvement Committees (PIC) to address the governance void created by ministry-imposed limitations on Trustee representation.
As a parent of a child with special needs, Chris advocates tirelessly for improved special education services, ensuring that every child receives the personalized support they deserve. Safety in our schools is non-negotiable; our children deserve a secure learning environment, and we must confront challenges with determination.
Chris champions merit-based education, believing that every child should have the opportunity to shine and reach their full potential. Join Chris in building a new relationship between parents and trustees, ensuring that every voice is heard and every child is supported.

Together, let’s turn a New Leaf for our children at UCDSB. With hope and determination, we can create an educational environment where every student thrives—safely and under the guidance of parents led priorities.
A brighter future awaits, and together, we can make it happen!
